WHAT IS EQUINE ASSISTED THERAPY?

Not a fan of traditional room based Counselling? Then Equine Assisted Therapy is for you.

Counselling sessions take place in the safe picturesque enclosure with our majestic therapy horses. Did you know horses experience most of the same emotions we do and have a similar nervous system ? Hence,  they can help humans heal in a way that no human can.

Horses are non-judgemental and therefore are the most amazing teachers when it comes to our own self-awareness. They often provide feedback by mirroring human behaviour and emotions.

Interactions with horses opens a door to our feelings, self awareness and subconscious mind. Horses have an advanced emotional intelligence to read the emotions of their own herd and humans. Our horses can  teach us how to be grounded and live in the present moment.
